The Hoover windtunnel bagless canister has an extremely low profile coupled
with a power nozzle operation makes this very quiet bagless canister vacuum one
of the best choices to clean in those difficult to reach areas around the home
(under the bed, low ceiling locations etc). The Hoover windtunnel bagless
canister has a exceptionally wide fifteen inch nozzle which helps to clean a
larger carpet per sweep than the typically 12" nozzle. The Hoover windtunnel
bagless canister also features handy edge brushes which are located on both
sides of the brush head helping to dislodge dust, dirt, and that annoying fluff
you notice along your baseboards.
The Hoover windtunnel bagless canister utilises patented WindTunnel science
which draws upon computer assisted designed air ducts which promote a very
powerful dual air flow further increasing its capacity to vacuum up dirt. Rather
than using the traditional bag system, the Hoover windtunnel bagless canister
employs a clear cup, which simply removes and is emptied for very swift
disposal. The vacuum also utilises a number of filtration methods including the
first stage filter, trapping the majority of dust and allergens. Further
filtration levels are found after the initial filter to again secure further
dust and debris which might have gotten out from the initial filter.
The final (and some would say the most important) filter is the HEPA filter.
Again, simplicity is catered for in all the filters removal aspects and the
Hoover windtunnel bagless canister deluxe pump handle ensures that a simple
mechanism is provided and full control for variable motor speeds brush roll is
conveniently located within fingertip reach. They really have thought of
everything including a self rewinding cord employed through a foot pedal switch
meaning you do not have to bend down to recoil the cable.
The Hoover windtunnel bagless canister is packed with various attachments
including a 6ft flexible hose, retractable cleaning wands, crevice attachment,
vacuum brush, and a handy HEPA and subsidiary cleaning brush.

| I was amazed at the suction power and the versatility of this well designed canister. It is lightweight and convenient, especially on stairs, while cleaning as well as an upright. When my previous vacuum cleaner became inoperable, I sought recomendations from a leading consumer magazine. It lead me to this and I am so glad I followed their suggestion. And what a price from Amazon saving me over $100.00 from the price at a local department store. You won't be sorry. |

We purchased our Hoover wind tunnel vacuum about two years ago when we needed something compact enough to carry around in our class 'C' motor home. We were happy with the size and thrilled with the way this little jewel performed. The telescopic wand made it perfect for storing in one of our limited closet spaces and the adjustable power selections on the suction intake make it ideal for many various cleaning tasks.
We found another reason to rave about this little vacuum as well. We live in Maine and about a year ago we had a wood pellet insert stove installed in our home. For those of you who don't know, there's a lot of fly ash and soot that builds up in and around the fire box and baffles and they have to be thoroughly cleaned every 8-10 days to keep them working efficiently. What I do is shut down the stove, empty the ash pan, and wait for it to cool down for a couple of hours. Then I attach a small flexible shop vac hose to the end of the regular Hoover hose and I proceed to thoroughly clean the entire stove. As soon as I am done I take the canister out of the vacuum, dump the contents into an ash can, and then I proceed to thoroughly wash the canister and filter with warm soapy water. This procedure allows me to get the stove back up and running in very short order. I wouldn't dare take a chance of cleaning the stove with a regular vacuum cleaner unless the stove had been idle for hours and I was completely confident there was no chance of a hot ember igniting a fire within the vacuums filter or canister. Where this unit is bagless, easily disassembled and cleaned with water, I find it to be a safe and simple tool to use for this purpose. We've washed the filter somewhere in the vicinity of 20-25 times now and it appears as good, and works as good, as the day we bought it!
Oh, by the way, we stepped up to a class 'A' motor home this past summer with plenty of interior and undercarriage storage but I can assure you we have no intentions of upgrading our Hoover! |

After suffering through three upright vacuums, reverted back to a cannister model. Read your reviews and decided on this model.
Love love love this vacuum! It is powerful, easy to use, easy to empty and it is exactly as advertised. Has two handy attachments, the only two you ever use and they are safely stored on top so will still be there in years to come.
I will never buy an upright again, this is the only style for me, if anything were to get stuck, I can easily fix it. I certainly recommend this vacuum and recommend buying from Amazon, speedy delivery, free delivery and no tax! The best! |
